Traci reflects on being in a class where students know more about the technology than you do, and how to cope. This is an honest reflection on the fact that we don't have to know everything, especially if we are up front about not knowing everything and collaborating with our students.

I, however, have learned how to operate my VCR. Too bad I only use DVD's.
This is new technology for week 6, namely how to use Gliffy. (I've had about 10 days away form these apps and have to figure out all over how to use them - that's why this is here and not in some more appropriately place).

Link through MCC libraryThis article shows the results of student surveys from an online education study in Greece (nice to see a publication from a European country) highlighting the fact that the instruction/content itself is only one part of why students succeed and retain information in an online course. The organization and other types of learning strategies seem to be almost equally important.
